Thanks to an amendment introduced by NU Regent Tim Clare, the Articles of Incorporation for UNL’s Innovation Campus now specify that faculty have a formal voice on an advisory board.

UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman unsuccessfully opposed the amendment, arguing that the Board of Innovation Campus should be able to determine on its own whom to put in an advisory role. Thanks, Regent Clare, for recognizing the need for a faculty voice in the development and ongoing management of Innovation Campus.
